Lead Wastewater Plant Operator

North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) provides vital wholesale water, wastewater and solid waste management services to more than two million people who call North Texas their home. The Lead Wastewater Plant Operator performs, plans, organizes, and supervises the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of wastewater facilities and associated systems. This position requires a high school diploma, 4 years of experience in wastewater treatment, and a valid Texas Driver's License. The employee will work in a wastewater conveyance and treatment environment, which involves physical demands and work environment characteristics that require manual dexterity, precision movements, and working with hazardous environments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 4 years of experience in wastewater treatment or a suitable combination of directly relevant education and experience
• Valid Texas Driver's License
• Texas Commission on Environmental Quality Class B Wastewater Treatment Operator's License
