Science Tutor - Learning Center (Bethlehem or Online)

We invite you to consider applying for a part-time Science Tutor position at Northampton Community College. As a tutor, you will help students with science disciplines and support their academic success. The position involves working on campus and/or online, and tutors are provided with training and certification opportunities.

Requirements

• Thorough understanding of the subject(s) that they will tutor
• An Associate degree or above in the discipline or a related field from a regionally accredited institution
• A grade of B or above in each course the candidate intends to tutor
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical skills, an interest in working with a diverse population of students, patience, and a genuine desire to help others learn and succeed
