Writing Tutor - Learning Center (Bethlehem or Online)

Support student success by utilizing a personalized approach to help each student gain a deeper understanding of course material, devise effective learning strategies, engage in critical thinking, and acquire additional academic skills.

Requirements

• Thorough understanding of the subject(s) that they will tutor
• An Associate degree or above in the discipline or a related field from a regionally accredited institution
• A grade of B or above in each course the candidate intends to tutor
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical skills, an interest in working with a diverse population of students, patience, and a genuine desire to help others learn and succeed
• Previous experience as a peer or professional tutor is a plus but not required
