The selected candidate will be placed in the classification in which they meet minimum qualifications. They will serve the public and work to make the roads in Ohio safer, attend training to obtain CDL licensure, and perform highway maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading, writing & speaking common English vocabulary.
- Must obtain Class B Commercial Drivers License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction
- Ability to read, write & speak common English vocabulary; 3 mos. trg. or 3 mos. exp. in operation of basic equipment for Highway Technician 1.
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction for Highway Technician 1.
