Sacramento Behavioral Healthcare Hospital (SBHH) is a new facility located near downtown Sacramento. As the first newly constructed psychiatric hospital in Northern California in more than 30 years, this hospital offers 117 inpatient acute psychiatric beds, an outpatient treatment center, and a procedures clinic providing electro-convulsive therapy (ECT) and other interventional psychiatry services. We offer a full range of individualized treatment services, adults, and senior adults, including treatment for mental health and co-occurring (mental health and substance abuse) disorders. Additional services include mental health and substance abuse screening, assessment, crisis intervention, consultation, education, and individual and group counseling.
Job Description
We are seeking an Entry-Level Financial Counselor to join our team. As a Financial Counselor, you will work with patients and their families to provide accurate and compassionate financial guidance. Your work will impact how patients access care, understand their financial options, and navigate insurance or assistance programs.
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- Two years of healthcare experience
- Two years of insurance verification experience
