Job Description
Northern Trust is seeking a Consultant, BU Control to join the COO BU Control team, responsible for executing control best practices and advising on risk mitigations and control enhancements. The role involves risk-based control reviews, management of issues in remediation, and analysis of incidents to identify trends and solutions.
Requirements
- 24 months of experience as an Associate Consultant
- Relevant experience/expertise in banking or similar regulated organization
- Experience with Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) tools
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Critical thinking, strong communication written/oral skills
- Ability to engage a diverse set of stakeholders, build long-term relationships
- Ability to think strategically, execute with precision, prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Experience of using Microsoft 365 Packages (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Power BI) and SharePoint
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field
