Senior Consultant

Senior Consultant role at Northern Trust, responsible for strengthening data governance, enhancing data quality, and building scalable data driven solutions. The successful candidate will work with operations, technology, and enterprise data teams to ensure data quality, regulatory compliance, and actionable insights for strategic decision making.

Requirements

• Implement data governance frameworks, policies, and standards for GFA teams.
• Establish data quality management, including profiling, data remediation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement to improve the quality of data in source systems.
• Oversee metadata management, data lineage, and master data management (MDM) initiatives and ensure compliance with Enterprise Data Governance teams.
• Analyse operations processes and issues to identify areas to improve data quality, reduce risk and improve efficiency.
• Elicit, outline and develop business requirements for projects and technical changes coordinating with business and technology teams.
• Provide analysis and takes ownership throughout the lifecycle of the project from scoping, high level business requirements, detailed business requirements and implementation as required.
• Translate business problems into data driven insights and solutions, products.
• Work with large, complex datasets to develop dashboards, reports, and analytics for senior stakeholders.
• Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement data management solutions that meet business needs, collaborate with engineering teams on data pipelines.
• Build strong working relationships with operations and technology teams.
