Job Description
Prepare financial statements, reconcile accounts, and support property management accounting functions for an established commercial real estate firm. Ideal candidate has 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate, and proficiency in Yardi, MRI, Excel, and Word.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (BBA or higher preferred)
- 2+ years of accounting experience; real estate accounting experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Yardi (required), MRI, Excel, and Word
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
- Excellent organizational skills with accuracy and attention to deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Analytical and critical thinking skills for advanced projects
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead on certain portfolio assignments
