Job Description
We are seeking a Property Accountant to provide accurate and timely reporting of financial operations for an assigned portfolio of properties. The successful candidate will have experience in public accounting or commercial real estate and be familiar with GAAP, property management accounting, and budgeting and forecasting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
- 2+ years of public accounting or commercial real estate experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, specifically as it applies to real estate
- Familiarity with property management accounting, recoveries, budgeting, and forecasting
- Experience with MRI, Yardi, Skyline, JD Edwards, or CTI systems preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PC-based software
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
