Cloud Data Engineer

The Cloud Data Engineer is a subject matter expert responsible for designing and implementing scalable cloud data architectures using Snowflake and Azure. This position involves coding, testing, and debugging program applications, as well as mentoring peers and providing educational sessions to improve workflows and system design.

Requirements

• 4-year college degree in computer science/information systems preferred or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of enterprise data warehouse industry experience
• 2+ years of experience in cloud data engineering or cloud platform support
• 4+ years of experience with data architecture and implementing data warehouse data marts
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake (data loading, SQL development, warehouse management), Microsoft Azure (ADF, Blob Storage, IAM concepts), Informatica Power Center/ Cloud Data Integration, and complex SQL
• Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation, issue resolution and facilitation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication and decision-making skills
• Experience and understanding of data sources including 3rd party RDBMS, SQL server and Oracle
