Job Description
The EMS Instructor will teach and evaluate EMT classes according to DOT curriculum, IDPH Rules and Regulations, and HPH EMS System protocol and policies, while promoting professional growth and development opportunities. The instructor will work among NorthShore Legacy facilities and EMS departments, requiring travel and varying hours.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse or Paramedic License
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (preferred)
- Currently licensed in the State of Illinois
- EMT-B/EMT-P preferred
- BLS certification
- Diverse experience in Emergency Department and Critical Care Nursing and/or Firefighter/Paramedic experience
- ACLS/TNS/PALS/ECRN/BTLS/Teaching Experience preferred
