Pathology Technician

Perform pathology technician duties, including accessioning cases, gross dissection of biopsies and small surgical specimens, and maintaining a clean and organized working environment. Accurately and efficiently access specimens and resolve discrepancies prior to gross examination. Assist in cutting and staining frozen sections and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree with requisite courses to meet CLIA requirements for moderate to high complexity testing
• No experience required, but some healthcare experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to maintain a professional, calm and focused demeanor during stressful situations
