Patient Care Technician - Med/Surg - Nights

The Patient Care Technician, under the direction of a Registered Nurse, performs patient care tasks and procedures to ensure patient care, comfort, and safety.

Requirements

• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association
• Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum six months of previous patient care experience or equivalent
• Successful completion of care Companion Course within six months of hire when course is required by the department
• Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, ability to prioritize, ability to receive and follow through on directions
