Job Description
This is a job description for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room department. The nurse will be responsible for assessing and planning patient care, administering medications, and providing education to patients and families.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing, required. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of professional nursing experience in the related specialty
- Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State and/or Connecticut, required
- BLS required, plus specialized certifications as needed
