Job Description
Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center (NWMRMC) is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse - LDRP to provide comprehensive care to laboring, delivering, recovering, and postpartum mothers and their newborns in accordance with AWHONN, ACOG, STABLE, NRP, and Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) standards. The role focuses on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for all stages of labor and postpartum, as well as newborns.
Requirements
- Proficiency in antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care
- Accurate fetal monitoring interpretation
- Effective patient and family education
- Knowledge of medication safety
- Understanding of neonatal and maternal pharmacology
- Cultural competence and trauma-informed care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
