Job Description
The Campus Safety Officer will provide a safe and secure environment to study, work, and live by enforcing campus rules and regulations, assisting in campus and community safety, and performing various other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of professional work experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to resolve conflict and de-escalate situations
- CPR and Basic First Aid certified or the ability to obtain within six (6) months of employment
- Ability to work while standing and/or walking for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs without assistance
- Must maintain a valid Idaho driver's license
- Must maintain a level of fitness necessary to effectively respond to life threatening situations on the job
- Christian perspective (preferably in the Wesleyan tradition), in agreement with the doctrine of the Nazarene church, and willing to help advance the spiritual goals of the University
