Community Reablement Worker - Melton & Charnwood - 12 Months Fixed Term

Leicestershire County Council is seeking a Community Reablement Worker to join the Mental Health, Locality and Reablement Team in Melton & Charnwood. The successful candidate will work with adults in a social care setting to promote independence, reduce social isolation, and encourage people to be part of their community.

Requirements

• Relevant health/social care qualifications to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent and / or equivalent relevant experience
• Relevant experience of working with adults in a social care setting and of working with other agencies within a fieldwork environment
• Good understanding of social care organisations and their roles and responsibilities as part of the wider community and voluntary sector
• Confident communicator with skills in negotiation, persuasion, assertiveness, and conflict management
• Ability to manage a caseload and work to clear objectives
