Youth Worker - Young Futures

We are seeking creative, passionate and motivated child-centred youth workers to support children aged 10-17 years with a main area of attention for those aged 10-14. We need workers who will think out of the box, be creative, and can work in a fast-paced and intensive environment.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Experience working with children and families
• Direct work with children and families in case or group work situations
• Establishing and maintaining mentoring relationships
• Collaborating with children to co-design individual intervention plans
• Knowledge and experience of issues faced by vulnerable children and families
• Using case management systems, case recording, writing assessments and/or reports for children
