Building Code Inspector (Mechanical & Plumbing)

NOVA Engineering is seeking Mechanical and Plumbing Building Code Inspectors in the Fort Myers, FL metropolitan area. Inspectors will perform building code inspections and plans review on residential and commercial buildings, and manage projects related to these inspections. Some travel may be required.

Requirements

• Required state of Florida commercial building inspection license (BN#) in Mechanical and Plumbing disciplines
• Florida Commercial Building Inspector license (BN#) for structural, electrical and/or 1 & 2 family dwelling (residential combo) are a bonus
• 3+ years' experience performing plan review and/or inspections
• High School diploma or equivalent education
• Valid State Driver's license with clean driving record
