Job Description
The Strait Regional Centre for Education (SRCE) in Nova Scotia, established in 2018, aims to support student success through programs focusing on learning, well-being, and inclusive environments. As of 2025-26, they operate 20 schools with approximately 5,981 students. The SRCE serves a large region with a population of approximately 53,742, including 14 school locations. They are seeking a Substitute Teacher to participate in school-based activities.
Requirements
- Valid teacher certification for the Province of Nova Scotia
- Methodology courses, experience, or practicum teaching in the subject area
- Excellent classroom and student management skills
- Knowledge and experience in the application of technologies to enhance instruction and learning
- Knowledge and/or experience in implementing inclusive teaching and assessment strategies
