Open Rank Scientist-Biomolecular Technologies

Novo Nordisk Research Center China seeks an Open Rank Scientist-Biomolecular Technologies to lead protein and peptide engineering, production, and QC for cardiometabolic disease research and project progression. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field, 6+ years of experience in protein/peptide engineering, production, and QC, and industrial experience in therapeutic protein and peptide discovery and development.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or closely related scientific disciplines
• 6+ years of experience on protein/peptide engineering, production and QC
• Industrial experience of therapeutic protein and peptide discovery and development
• AI assisted molecule design experience is a strong plus
• Outstanding track record of creativity, independence, and scientific accomplishments in the field of protein/peptide chemistry
• Experience in small molecule chemistry and design principle is an advantage
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a global setting
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team in a global setting
• Proficient in verbal and written English
