Legal Engineer - M&A Lawyer Sydney

We are seeking an M&A lawyer to join a well-funded start-up as a Legal Engineer. The role involves making AI accessible for legal professionals, observing client workflows, and adapting technology to fit their needs. The Legal Engineer will be the Product Specialist/SME in M&A legal process and will build trusted relationships with law firms, manage pilots, and drive the adoption of an automation solution powered by AI.

Requirements

• 5-8 years PQE in a law firm and/or in-house roles
• Deep expertise practicing in M&A law
• Based in Sydney or willing to move to Sydney
• Can demonstrate skills and passion for innovation in law
• Ideally exposure in the roll out or adoption of legal tech/AI within legal teams
• Can thrive in a start-up environment
