We are looking for a strong leader with multi-sector programme management experience in the West Bank. The successful candidate will have a strategic thinker looking to add value to current and new programmes at the West Bank office. The roleholder will be responsible for overseeing NRC's West Bank Area Office programme, ensuring strategic direction and quality assurance, and mentoring and capacity development of staff.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in a relevant domain. Preferred master’s degree.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience from a management position in a humanitarian/ recovery context, with significant previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts.
- Multi-sectorial programme development and implementation in at least one of NRC Palestine’s core competencies.
- Leadership and management experience with strong people development expertise.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Sound knowledge of the Palestinian context.
- Experience implementing emergency/rapid response programming and access negotiation.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting needs assessment, project monitoring and evaluation, and programme development.
- Experience in community-based and participatory programme design and planning approaches.
- Knowledge of donor requirements and compliance rules.
- Strong proposal writing skills.
