Country Director - Palestine

We are recruiting a Country Director to lead our Palestine team. The Country Director will be responsible for the overall management of the Palestine mission, including representation, fundraising, and program development. The role requires significant leadership experience in directing emergency response programs in complex settings. A Master's degree in a relevant field is required, or equivalent senior-level experience.

Requirements

• Significant leadership experience in directing implementation of emergency response programs in complex settings.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field (International Development, Public Health, Business Administration, International Relations, or related discipline) or equivalent senior-level experience.
• Solid background and knowledge of Institutional Donor Rules and Regulations.
• Solid background and contacts with U.N. Agencies and other international emergency response and development actors.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, public speaking, and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent English-speaking skills and writing skills.
• Excellent and demonstrated skills in team management (structure, conflict, performance management and communication).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, tasks efficiently.
• Excellent time management skills and resourcefulness with strong attention to detail.
• Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
• Previous experience working in Palestine is strongly preferred.
• Arabic language would be a bonus.
