Senior Legal Counsel - Commercial

This Senior Legal Counsel position will provide commercial legal support to NRG Energy's retail energy and gas businesses, and will be a critical part of the commercial services legal team. The attorney will advise leadership and other stakeholders on legal risks, strategies, and structures for commercial matters, and will review and negotiate large commercial power and natural gas supply agreements.

Requirements

• JD degree from an ABA accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in TX (or another state)
• A minimum of 10 years of combined successful legal experience in a law firm or sophisticated corporate legal department
