Electrical Engineer

Provide support for process improvements, performance monitoring, root cause analysis, engineering initiatives, project activities, and operations and maintenance functions to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance. Provide technical support to Plant Operations and Maintenance for electrical systems, including breakers, MCCs, switchgear, relays, VFDs, UPS, batteries, motor drives, transformers, and cathodic protection. Lead and support NERC compliance efforts at the Ivanpah plant.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Power Plant or Industrial Plant experience in an electrical engineering capacity (desired)
• Knowledge and understanding of electrical construction, troubleshooting, and repair methods (desired)
• Demonstrated skills in basic Project Management (desired)
• Six Sigma Certification (desired)
