Leader Patient Flow Operations - Access and Flow

The Leader Patient Flow Operations is responsible for the Nursing Administration and the coordination of safe, efficient patient care services within the facility. The role supervises nursing staff, coordinates all hospital and bed utilization activities, and works collaboratively with patients, families, management, staff, physicians, community partners, and service providers to address challenges and improve the patient experience.

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree in nursing
• Registered or eligible for registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing
• Minimum of three (3) years medical/surgical experience or equivalent in an acute care setting
• Minimum of two (2) years’ nursing management experience
• BCLS required
• ACLS is an asset
