Nova Scotia Health is hiring Nurse Practitioners for permanent, assignments, and casual relief opportunities throughout Nova Scotia. Successful candidates may be eligible for a signing bonus and up to $15,000 for rural placements.

Requirements

• Autonomous practice to diagnose, order, and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe pharmaceuticals, and perform procedures within the legislated scope of practice
• Collaboration with professionals and teams in mutual support
• Accountability for own practice consistent with relevant legislation, professional, and ethical standards
• Ability to identify, analyze, and evaluate activities reflective of quality improvement initiatives
