Job Description
Perform radiological procedures for medical diagnosis in the OR and X-ray department. Troubleshoot equipment and ensure proper functioning. Collaborate with attending Radiologist and Surgeon.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiological Technology
- Current registration or eligible for registration with the Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP)
- Current successful completion of a Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada Basic Life Support (BLS) program within the last 12 months
- Paediatric imaging experience (asset)
- Demonstrated ability to make independent technical decisions and work as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Well-developed decision making, interpretation, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Competency in other languages (asset)
