The NSW Department of Education is seeking a School Counsellor to join the KickStart Graduate Employment Program at Nyngan Public School. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with a team of dedicated professionals to make a positive impact on the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in NSW public schools.

Requirements

• Full approval to teach in NSW Department of Education schools
• Completion of required psychology studies
• Provisional registration as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia
• Understanding of mental health needs of children and young people
• Training and experience in counselling, assessment, and report writing
