School Counsellor - Provisional, KickStart Graduate Employment Program - William Stimson Public School

We are seeking a School Counsellor for the KickStart Graduate Employment Program at William Stimson Public School. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with a team of professionals to provide mental health and wellbeing support to children and young people in NSW public schools.

Requirements

• Full approval to teach in NSW
• Completion of a 5-year psychology degree
• Provisional registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
• Understanding of the mental health needs of children and young people
• Training and/or experience in counselling and assessment
• Interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and travel between work sites
