School Counsellor - Provisional, KickStart Graduate Employment Program - St Johns Park High School

The NSW Department of Education is seeking a School Counsellor to join the KickStart Graduate Employment Program at St Johns Park High School. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of professionals to provide mental health and wellbeing support to children and young people in NSW public schools.

Requirements

• Full approval to teach in NSW
• Completion of a 5-year psychology degree and availability to start or continue the 5+1 internship program
• Provisional registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
• Ability to work collaboratively and liaise with key stakeholders
• Training and/or experience in counselling children and young people
• Training and/or experience in cognitive, emotional and behavioural assessment of children and young people
• Valid and current Working with Children Check clearance
• Unrestricted provisional or full driver’s licence
