Manufacturing Engineer (NPI) | NTS Hengelo

NTS Hengelo is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (NPI) to join their team. As a Manufacturing Engineer (NPI), you will be part of the NPI team responsible for the technical feasibility and process design of new high-tech products. You will analyze complex tolerances, material properties, and critical product characteristics and translate them into a robust, reproducible production process.

Requirements

• HBO or WO level of education in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar
• Strong technical insight into manufacturability, tolerances, and metalworking
• Affinity with or experience in a high-tech production environment, preferably machining
• Knowledge of quality methodologies such as SPC, CPK, PFMEA, and root cause analyses is a plus
• Analytical ability to translate design choices into process impact
• Strong communication skills and ability to effectively switch between engineering and the shop floor
• Good command of the English language in speech and writing due to drawings, work instructions, and communication on the shop floor
