Data Modeler

NTT DATA is seeking a Data Modeler to join their team in Pune, India. The successful candidate will design and implement enterprise-grade data models to support analytics, reporting, and operational systems.

Requirements

• Expert-level knowledge of data modeling techniques (conceptual, logical, physical) and normalization/denormalization.
• Strong experience with dimensional modeling (star, snowflake) and OLAP design principles.
• Proficiency in SQL for schema design, constraints, indexing, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with data modeling tools (e.g., ERwin, PowerDesigner, or equivalent).
• Deep understanding of data warehousing, metadata management, and data governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with Power BI data modeling and integration with semantic models.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and ability to design models that support efficient data movement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work in a 2 PM–11 PM IST shift.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, OneLake) and modern data architecture is a strong plus.
