Data Modeler

We are seeking a Data Modeler to join our team in Bangalore, India. The Data Modeler will play a key role in designing enterprise-grade data models that support business processes across meter-to-cash, asset management, work management, outage management, and geospatial data.

Requirements

• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise data platforms, data warehouses, and data lakes.
• Develop models aligned with industry standards, utilities data structures, and organizational data strategy.
• Ensure data models support scalability, performance, and future analytics requirements.
• Work closely with data architects to define data integration and data flow design across systems.
• Work with business SMEs to understand domain-specific processes such as metering & billing, customer information systems, distribution/transmission operations, asset & work management, and outage management systems.
• Translate domain-driven requirements into accurate and optimized data models.
• Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, ETL engineers, and application teams.
• Ensure alignment between business requirements and data modeling deliverables.
• Participate in workshops, requirement clarifications, and design walkthroughs.
• Define data standards, naming conventions, and modeling best practices.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, lineage, and documentation for all models.
• Support metadata management and data governance initiatives.
