Networking Analyst - Smart Hands Support

NTT DATA is seeking a Networking Analyst - Smart Hands Support to join their team in Yonkers, New York. This role provides on-site technical support for network infrastructure, hardware installations, and data center operations through remote NOC. The role requires physical tasks such as equipment installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and site-to-site travel throughout New York City and Westchester.

Requirements

• 2+ years of IT experience
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Personal vehicle for travel between sites
• High school diploma or trade school training or relevant experience
• Strong understanding of networking (OSI Layers 2 & 3), cabling, and data center operations
• Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, UPS systems, and electrical/cooling infrastructure
• Experience with Visio, testing tools, and interpreting floor plans
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks
• Reliable transportation and a clean, insurable driving record
• Fully vaccinated for flu (as required for hospital access)
• Basic console access and configuration knowledge
• Familiarity with structured cabling (copper/fiber) and environmental monitoring tools
• Experience with Service Now or similar ticketing/change management systems
• Strong time management, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Availability for shift work, weekends, holidays, and emergency callouts
• Preferred certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Cisco certifications (CCNA, etc.)
