Risk and Assurance Lead

We are seeking a Risk and Assurance Lead to play a critical role in strengthening our governance and risk management framework. The successful candidate will support the effective identification, assessment and management of the Charity's principal and emerging risks, ensuring risks are clearly understood, actively managed, and aligned with our organisational risk appetite.

Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering Internal Audit reviews
• Experience in risk management within complex organisations
• Strong understanding of risk frameworks and the use of assurance to inform risk-based decision making
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail, with a focus on practical solutions
• Experience in analysing risk information and reporting clearly to senior governance bodies
• A collaborative approach and commitment to continuous improvement
• Ability to interpret and present risk and control data clearly
