Senior Advisor, Procurement, Allan

Reporting to the Allan Procurement Manager, the Senior Advisor, Procurement, will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of procurement processes from creation to closeout. The role will ensure alignment with Nutrien’s procurement objectives by collaborating with site-based teams and executing strategic contracting and commercial planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Law, or a related discipline
• 10+ years’ relevant experience in supply chain management
• Certifications in related disciplines such as procurement are considered an asset
• Targeted experience in competitive sourcing, supplier negotiations, contract execution, supplier relationship management, spend analytics, and supplier risk management
• Experience with contract management/administration
• Proactive mindset with the ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment
• Proficiency in legal and commercial contract negotiations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong commercial and business acumen
• Solid technical and analytical skills
