Job Description
The Registered Dietitian will provide nutrition care to all ages, focusing on neonates/pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. This role includes nutrition counseling, assessments, and participation in community programs to prevent and improve malnutrition, enhance wound healing, and improve patient care. The Registered Dietitian will also work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality and safety of services.
Requirements
- Complete nutrition assessment using validated tools (IDNT, standard language for nutrition care process)
- Execute nutrition counseling with the intent of changing behavior and improving health outcomes
- Apply knowledge and communicate with the multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrate clinical competency through continuing education
