Systems Engineer

Role Overview

The Systems Engineer is responsible for maintaining and supporting a complex multi-site heterogeneous IT environment. The role involves system analysis and development in collaboration with the IT operational staff to keep systems current with changing technologies. The Systems Engineer must possess a strong knowledge of Windows server administration and a fundamental understanding of enterprise class network and storage infrastructure.

What You Will Do

Installs, configures, optimizes, and maintains Windows servers. Installs, configures, optimizes and maintains enterprise class network and storage infrastructure. Deploy, configure, and manage virtual machines in a mixed infrastructure environment.

Requirements

• AAS degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• 5 years related work experience as a Systems Engineer in an Enterprise class Windows environment
• Enterprise level certification (MCSE, CCIE, etc.)
• Extensive experience working with various editions of Windows Server 2012 to present releases
• Understanding and comfort in all aspects of Active Directory
