This role involves strategic project & portfolio oversight, technical design & engineering integration, supply chain & critical path management, operational excellence & quality control, financial management & change control, and stakeholder & client relations. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction or Business Management or related field, and 2-5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, or Industrial Construction project management. Proficiency in scheduling software and working understanding of electrical schematics or AutoCAD are also preferred.

- Life Cycle Ownership: Lead projects through the entire lifecycle
- Risk Mitigation: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential bottlenecks in design or supply chain
- KPI Tracking: Maintain accountability for project health metrics
- Technical Design & Engineering Integration
- Scope Validation: Critically review sales contracts against engineering capabilities
- Interdisciplinary Liaison: Act as the translator between structural, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams
- Supply Chain & Critical Path Management
- Procurement Strategy: Partner with Purchasing to manage 'Long Lead Time' items
- Vendor Performance: Monitor the quality and timing of external contractors and sub-vendors
- Operational Excellence & Quality Control
- Shop Floor Partnership: Coordinate with shop supervisors to audit progress and resolve manufacturing hurdles in real-time
- The 'Zero-Punchlist' Goal: Facilitate thorough internal quality audits to identify and fix defects before the customer sees the product
- Financial Management & Change Control
- Margin Protection: Vigilantly monitor Scope Creep and negotiate Change Orders to protect the project's profitability
- Financial Forecasting: Provide leadership with monthly Percent of Completion (POC) reports detailing projected costs versus actual spend
- Stakeholder & Client Relations
- Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the single source of truth for the client, translating complex technical delays into clear, professional business updates
