IT Project Manager (Enterprise Assets) for NW Natural, responsible for managing complex IT projects, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring deliverables are completed to standards.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in business, technology, engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of project management experience
- PMI or equivalent certification preferred
- Experience in the Utility Industry
- Ability to lead project teams of varying sizes
- Expertise in asset lifecycle management (plan → acquire → maintain → retire)
- Experience with enterprise platforms and tools, including SAP S/4HANA and geospatial solutions (GIS; IQGeo; Esri; Workforce)
- Knowledge of SAP EAM, including Plant Maintenance (PM)
- Knowledge and experience with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service Lifecycle phases, framework, and best practices.
- Knowledge and experience with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) controls and testing process.
- Solid understanding of master data structures, including functional locations, equipment, and BOMs
- Proven experience managing projects that support field operations, maintenance crews, frontline workforces, and geospatial systems
- Understanding of unionized and bargaining unit environments
- Experience operating systems hosted on Azure, including an understanding of information systems management
- Experience working in Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) environments
- Deep understanding of complex integrations and end-to-end data flows
- Demonstrated ability to manage vendors and drive accountability against performance expectations
- Ability to manage risk and reliability for Tier-1 enterprise systems supporting field operations and geospatial capabilities
- Ability to clearly articulate trade-offs between business impact and security risk
- Systems-thinking mindset across networks, infrastructure, applications, vendors, and business operations
