Senior Accountant

NYC Kids RISE is seeking a Senior Accountant to own the month-end close and day-to-day accounting, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, grant and restriction tracking, and audit-ready documentation.

Requirements

• 6-7 years progressive accounting experience
• Significant nonprofit experience restricted funds accounting
• Experience working in the metropolitan New York City area (preferred)
• Strong QuickBooks (Enterprise) proficiency
• Working knowledge of nonprofit GAAP (ASC 958)
• Ability to build and maintain allocation methodologies
