The Regional Applications Lead US is responsible for the planning, delivery and support of quality Applications and data/information Services for Nyrstar’s US operations. This role provides leadership to the Applications team and technical leadership in Application and System development that advances Nyrstar’s North America data and information capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years in roles supporting enterprise applications, ideally in natural resources, industrial or manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches for managing application and infrastructure projects
- Strong skills in SQL and relational database design and administration
- Experience with C# and Microsoft development toolsets for building and maintaining web applications
- Hands-on experience with tools like Power BI, Tableau, Crystal Reports, and MS Reporting Services
- Exposure to SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems
- Experience designing, deploying, and supporting solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents and SharePoint Online
- Familiarity with Azure services, including server provisioning, monitoring, and integration with on-premises systems
- Experience managing both in-house and cloud-based servers, especially those supporting application platforms
- Ability to assess business processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization using digital tools
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams, including IT/OT, business process owners, and external vendors
- Understanding of IT governance, change control, and compliance frameworks relevant to data and application management
