Job Description
Procurement Specialist - Raw Materials job at O-I Glass, Inc. with hybrid role at O-I Perrysburg HQ, responsible for procurement of raw materials and cullet, ensuring best-practice sourcing and optimal total cost of ownership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- 5+ years experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or related role, with demonstrated progression in scope and responsibility
- Proven experience supporting or executing strategic sourcing initiatives, including RFx processes, supplier evaluations, and cost-savings projects
- Supplier negotiation and contract management experience preferred, with the ability to engage suppliers independently and resolve routine issues
- Experience applying total cost of ownership concepts and data analysis to inform sourcing decisions
