Medical Coder (SC Upstate Residents)

Medical Coder responsible for data abstraction, evaluation, and auditing of Provider assigned CPT, HCPC codes, ICD-10 CM for obstetrics. Assigns and sequences diagnoses and procedures in accordance with ICD-10 CM Official Coding Guidelines.

Requirements

• Certified AAPC Coder
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 Office suite, moderate skills with Excel
• Ability to work with highly confidential materials
• High ethical standards
