Operation Blessing (OB) is seeking an experienced Programs Manager to lead the strategic planning, development, and technical oversight of health initiatives across our Africa and Latin America programs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience managing or supporting international public health programs, preferably in humanitarian or nonprofit settings
- Master's degree in Public Health (MPH) strongly preferred
- Spanish language proficiency preferred
- Strong understanding of Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) methodologies and best practices
- Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and awareness in cross-cultural environments
- Proven ability to think critically, conduct research, and provide sound program recommendations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with a willingness to learn new technologies and systems
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively train and communicate with diverse audiences
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with high attention to detail
- Adaptable, resourceful, and innovative with the ability to take initiative in dynamic environments
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Able to perform well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
- Ability to travel periodically to headquarters in Virginia Beach, VA and internationally as assigned, up to 30% of the year, mostly to Latin America and Africa
- Demonstrated life application of Biblical principles and practices in alignment with OB's nonprofit Christian mission
