Lifeguard

We're looking for a Lifeguard to ensure the safety of facility patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies. The successful candidate will have knowledge of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques, effective communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of age and enrolled in High School
• High School diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Thorough knowledge and application of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques
• Certification in Lifeguard Training and First Aid from the American Red Cross (or equivalent)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to present information clearly and professionally
• Knowledge of Windows-style applications and keyboard
• Ability to lift in excess of 100 pounds occasionally
• Ability to stoop, bend, reach and grab with arms and hands
• Manual dexterity
