Patient Access Representative

Patient Access Representative greets patients and guests, initiates scheduling, and completes check-in process. Responsible for accurate identification and demographical data, point-of-service collections, and patient satisfaction. Required to work in a hospital, clinic, or medical office environment, with experience in customer service, registration, and financial counseling.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital, clinic, medical office, or customer service-related environment
• Certification in Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM), Certification in Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA), or Certification as a Medical Assistant (or other medical specialty-based certification) preferred
