Radiation Therapist - Full Time - Baton Rouge

We're looking for a Radiation Therapist to administer radiation therapy to patients in accordance with prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist. This job requires a graduate degree in Radiation Therapy Technology, registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, and licensure in the state of practice. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, knowledge of radiation therapy concepts, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Graduate degree in Radiation Therapy Technology
• Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 90 days of hire
• Licensure in the state of practice by the Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners within 90 days of hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of required job information
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of all utilized equipment, its use and care
• Ability to chart accurately and maintain all data pertinent to patient's therapy and care
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Extensive knowledge of radiation therapy concepts, applications and administration
